Turkish, Latvian Defense Leaders Hold Private Talks
(MENAFN) On Thursday, Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler welcomed Andris Spruds, his opposite number from the Baltic country of Latvia.
Guler received Spruds in the capital city of Ankara with a formal reception hosted at the ministry.
Once the "national anthems of both countries" were performed, Spruds acknowledged the ceremonial guard.
Subsequently, the two defense ministers engaged in a meeting held behind closed doors.
